Description

1969 Lincoln Continental Mark III Hardtop 2 Door CoupeRuns great! Clean title VIN# 9Y89A876500
460 V8 Engine128K miles, Rebuilt Engine. Unknown at which point engine was rebuilt.Mileage does not read over 5 digits, so it shows 28000kRebuilt carburetor (2014)New master cylinder (2016) and new all aluminum radiator (late 2017)6 year AAA warranty battery (2015)I've used only non-ethanol fuel since I've owned it
All Original Paint and InteriorPaint in Excellent Condition! This car has been garaged for most it's life. Outside total of 2 years in the last 4 years with regular up-keeping.Only 2-3 minor scratches along sides. Two very small rust areas near back end wheel wells under paint.Sky Blue with Off White Hardtop. Hardtop in excellent condition.Blue interior with original dark blue shag carpeting. Minor water stains on front seat. Shag carpet is cool and original but would want to be updated if restored
Power windows, seats, and locks.AM/FM stereo with 8-track player. Exterior antennae retractsWhite wall tiresAutomatic, power steeringAll exterior and interior lights in working orderSpare tire in trunk (recently inflated) and toolsComes with new car cover
Needs some electrical work for power windows and locks.Driver window works great. Passenger window comes out of track occasionallyKnick in center of windshieldGas gauge occasionally does not read accurately.Car does pull a little to the right. I have had this inspected by a trusted alignment specialist. He said it is the power steering box (about a $250 part replacement) and that it is not the alignment and it is not affecting the wear and tear of the tires.
I've owned this car for over 4 years. I am selling it because I no longer have a garage or the time to do any restoration projects. I've done my best to keep it in good shape and running great. If I had the time and space to do restoration projects, my first things I would do would be small projects such as re-doing weatherstripping around doors and windows, work on electrical for some of the windows and seats, consider updating carpet, fix gas gauge, and replace the seals to the gas tank. Only when the tank is full will you notice an odor from slight leak from seal. Fairly easy fix with a good mechanic. I have replaced the gas cap. This car has NEVER broken down on me. Drives like a dream.
Please message me with any questions. I will do my best to answer accurately to the best of my knowledge. I'd love this car to go to someone who wants to do small restoration/updating and keep it nice.Serious inquiries only. Thanks for looking!
