Description

1993 Lincoln MK VIII. 2nd owner. Owned last 24 years. Original paint, no dents, 117,000 original miles. Burgundy with gray leather interior. Original engine removed at 86,000 miles and totally new built engine was installed ( nothing wrong with old engine. Sold old eng.after new engine installed in 2005). This engine was built for extreme strength and ready for a supercharger. Never installed supercharger. Built for occasional drag racing. Ran approx. 3 times per year. Have had no problems since built. Motor has 32,000 since built. Runs 8.73 @ 82 mph in 1/8 mile. 13.60s @ 100mph in the qtr. Best 60 ft. is 1.91. Motor built with new aluminium block, forged J&E pistons, Eagle H beam rods, ARP rod nuts, polished heads with Farrea racing valves and bronze guides ARP head and main studs, steel crank, balanced, Steeda underdrive pulleys, adjustablefuel pressure regulator, Cobra camshafts, dyno tuned for 12 to 1 fuel air radio and 6,900 shift points Art Carr 2400 lock up convertor, Metal Matrix driveshaft, 4.30 gear with Eaton posi unit, speedo calibrator for accurate speedo reading, coil front suspension, air rear suspension, 17x9 Cobra R rims, drag radials. Truly, one of a kind and show quality. Took me 3 years to built the eng.because of the cost (approx. 10,000 and I have receipts. Every nut was torqued to specs. and built by me in a 70 degree climate. Drives like a new car and very smooth! Never would one know that it is a sleeper!! Car should run 11.70s with a supercharger and built for it! Always garage kept.
