I bought this car from my business neighbor who owns an automotive paint company. His Father was a Dentist and he bought this car From Rosen Novak (A big long time dealer) in Omaha in 1982. His Father passed about 15 years ago and he left this car in his year round climate controlled building not wanting to ever part with it. About 3 or so years back he spent over $2000.00 getting it in shape. Tune up, tires, brakes etc. I will include receipts in the sale. I also have some original paper work from the sale of the car in '82 too. He decided to sell the car because it was just in his employees way that worked in side his building.
The car had a very nice repaint about 20 some years ago. At the time it was Immaculate. It still looks great but there is some pigmentation in the hood and trunk lid. But honestly it still looks great. The car is very straight and shines beautifully. The reflections on the sides are just that! Reflections! It shines beautifully and you can see yourself in the paint! There is very, very little to no rust in the car. A scratch, ding or chip here and there. Don't expect perfection! The vinyl top is still very nice and it has an operable moon roof. All the chrome is above average. The bumpers and front grill are still very nice. Please refer to my pictures. The hidden headlights open and close correctly.
The interior is very nice. It's a dark blue cloth with dark blue carpet. No funny smells. No mice etc. The power seats on both sides work fine. All power windows work fine. Has good heat. A/C Compressor comes on as it should. The windows in the car were tinted with dark paper years ago. About 50 % of it still looks good. I would have it redone if I were to keep it. Dash is nice. Door panels all still good. Some wear and tear as expected for this age of car. Original radio with cassette has a bit of static when turning on or turning up or down volume.. Tilt Wheel, Cruise works is quirkey though. Dash trim all in good shape.
I've driven the car to a Christmas play Down Town and it drove fine. This car is a monster. I in no way am saying this is a new car. It is 37 years old. you just cant find these like this anymore. Nothing built today compares in my opinion. It has the air system in the rear. I see no issues there. All glass is fine. Car floats down the road!
I am a one man dealer in Omaha Ne. Superior Auto 4521 S 88. I have this to legally seek out and find cars like this one. It's my passion and not my sole source of income. It's just fun to me. I am more o a Mopar fanatic. All paperwork will be done correctly as per Ne, law. So rest assured this will be an easy transaction.
To sum it all up this a is a nice American 37 year old Luxury car with only 86000 miles. Not new not perfect, but straight and classy and fun to drive. If you owned this in the 70's and 80's you were King of the hill. It does have its flaws as I have described. It would be a fun weekend cruiser or local car show participant next fall. I did polish the paint and it looks great even with its flaws. The car is sold "AS IS" Have it inspected or try to see it yourself and all sales are final. If there is something you deem important just call me! You'll need an airplane hanger to store it, this is a main reason why I'm not adding it to my collection. My space is limited.
0 feedback or low feedback number ebay members must call me prior to bidding or I will eliminate your bid. These auction cost money! Bid retractors...please go on tho the next car. I get a bit windy in my descriptions. Dealing on the world wide web can be scary. I don't want you to have any surprises when you get the car. My feedback is perfect. I do my best to describe. This car can be driven anywhere in my opinion. But long distances......well just remember its 37 years old....no promises
Any questions just call! Bernie 402 733 7760 Thanks and good luck. You should love the car as I did when I found it. 402 733 7760
