Lotus Turbo Esprit HCi in original pearl white with navy blue leather
Description
This Lotus Turbo Esprit is a beautiful representation of the marque. The paintwork is original, and has obviously been well cared for. The fairly rare navy blue leather interior is also original, showing just a hint of patina from 32 years of enjoyable driving. This car features the black and gold Lotus badging that was done to commemorate the passing of Lotus founder Colin Chapman. The blue pin-striping sets off the blue leather interior perfectly. The body for the earlier Esprit's (up through 1987) was styled by Giorgetto Giugiaro of the famous Italdesign, leading to a timeless design that was meant to last. This car turns heads and brings a smile wherever it goes.
The engine went through a deep service in 2006, and has been routinely maintained since that time. It runs very well. Included with this car are a set of manuals (shop operations, parts, and technical). The tires are recent and have plenty of life left. The frame and suspension are in excellent shape, with no rust or corrosion. This example is mechanically sound, needing nothing for immediate enjoyment as the summer driving and car show season approaches.
There is a convenient power socket installed for charging devices and such, and the stereo is a more modern head unit with a CD player. This car is also equipped with a newer CB radio, handy for traveling in a group, and for safety out on the road. The windows have a professionally applied blue tint to reduce glare and help protect the interior.
For iconic styling, world class performance, and a wonderful sport driving experience, this car has it all!
