If you bid, you must send me a confirmation message after you bid, or you risk your bid being canceled. (Yes, I did write this twice).

Up for sale is mysuper reliable and nimble ‘93 NA Miata.I’ve owned this car since Fall of 2015, when I purchased it while living in Las Vegas. I have been the owner since approximately 143,XXX miles. I originally purchased it as a 2ndfun car to my 2015 WRX. I ended up selling my WRX in September of 2016 to get rid of my car payment and I have used this over the past year as my daily driver. It has been excellent for my mostly highway commute and the insurance has been super low. I have taken this car on the trip from my move from Vegas to the SF Bay, day trips from the SF Bay to Lake Tahoe, Mt. Shasta, Yosemite, and the Monterey Peninsula, all with no problems. This NA runs like a champ.I have NEVER raced or auto crossed this NA.I drive in the slow lane to work the majority of the time. I have a little fun on twisty roads on limited occasions, but I am certainly not an aggressive driver.

REASON FOR SALE: I want a bigger car for photography trips as I do sleep in my car for these trips sometimes. The Miata is not ideal for these trips. My loss is your gain.

This car has beensupremely reliable and fun to drive. The 5 speed manual transmission is legendary and theshifts are as smooth as butter. That phrase might be over used, but I can assure you, after driving manual transmissions on 2 Subaru WRXs, a Nissan 350Z, a Mini Cooper, a Honda Civic, and a Scion FRS, it is not an understatement. Maybe the FRS comes close.

The only “major” work I’ve had to do over the past year has been changing out the Master Slave Cylinder. It has been working perfectly since.I have been changing the oil every 5K miles with full synthetic.I have the records for all oil changes since making it my daily and I have service records of the majority of other work put into it. I will give you the paperwork upon transfer of the vehicle.

When I first took possession of the vehicle, I knew it could be a car that could eventually end up as my daily and I took care of everything needed to bring it up to speed. I immediately got the spark plugs changed out and that instantly made the car feel like new and super peppy. Other work I got done is below (not limited to),

1.Oil and filter changed and replaced.

2.Replaced thermostat and gasket flush cooling system

3.Drain and refill trans fluid

4.Drain and refill rear diff fluid

5.Flush brake fluid

6.Flush clutch fluid

Total initial work with parts ended up being $831.38. Yes, I am very particular with what I am driving.

Other things I’ve put into this car

1.Enkei RPF1 Lightweight Wheels (spent $1443.60 for wheel/tire package)

2.185/60R-14 DUNLOP DIREZZA ZII STAR SPEC

3.Wheelskins Leather steering wheel cover

4.OEM Miata Floor Mats

5.Tein Flex Z Adjustable Coil Overs (Coil over wrenches included)

6.CD Player with aux hook up (I’ll include the aux cable). Stereo head was actually installed when I got it; comes in handy when listening to podcasts or streaming music from your smart phone.

This car is 24+ years old and is super reliable. Of course, a car of this age is NOT PERFECT. I will try my best to describe and pertinent details, but understand I will not nit pick every single imperfection. The buyer should understand that some imperfections do not show up on camera. Please do not try tonickel and dime me after the fact/after you have already won the auction by pointing out every little imperfection on a 24+ year old car. The paint still shines as I polished and waxed it when I first got it; however, there are some dings, small dents, and chips that are not uncommon with a car this age. The rear bumper does have some peeling if you can observe from the photos. The windshield has a small crack that has not grown since it’s been my daily. The carpet is slightly pulled away (very small areas) from the seals on both sides. I’m sure this is easily fixed by someone that does interiors. It’s so small that it doesn’t bother me, but thought I’d mention it. The airbag light blinks intermittently, which seems to be a common thing from reading the Miata forums. It does not affect daily driving at all. Power steering works perfectly, but it does make more noise when turning the wheel right at parking lot speeds (haven’t gotten this diagnosed, but it hasn’t been a problem with daily driving). It's not the quietest car in the world, but what Miata is? It is not meant to be a Toyota Camry type ride. She pulls a bit right at the moment. The soft top is in good condition. Cosmetically it looks great. It does leak a little during rainy season, but IMO it does not need immediate replacement. The dash has a little warpage if you can see from the pics. AC was recharged when I first purchased and works, but is not super effective and probably not worth trying to recharge again. Brake light on trunk is not working (probably needs rewiring), but regular brake lights are perfect. Headlights pop-up perfectly, but the driver's side needs a new bulb. Rear view mirror is out of place and needs to be glued back into place. As far as the timing belt, I assume it has been changed at least once due to the mileage, but I have not changed it since I've been the owner. My plan, if I kept it, was to change it as I near 200K miles.

CA Title in hand. Registration in CA was renewed in April 2017 (if I recall off the top of my head) and passed smog easily at that time. Smog was completed September 2017, PASSED, and is ready for transfer! Current Mileage is approx 167, 200. This will go up a bit during the auction until transfer as I may drive it a bit before transfer.

Local pick up only, I will NOT ship. Pick Up time must be scheduled Monday thru Wednesday (my days off). Full payment is due before transfer of vehicle. I actually tried to sell this car last year and got some fake bids.

CAR SOLD AS IS WITHOUT WARRANTY. When you win the auction, you enter an agreement via eBay to follow through on the purchase. Please follow through. It helps everyone. Please do not bid if you are not 100% sure you want the car. I would rather keep it than have to deal with a flakey buyer.

Please be a serious bidder! Do NOT waste my time or the time of other bidders that are sincerely interested in purchasing this car.

All in all, this car is in very good condition in my opinion. It is ready to drive and I hope it makes it to someone that appreciates what the NA Miata is: lightweight, nimble, and a living legend!
