This auto is powered with the 2.8 liter M130 6 cylinder engine that was used in the W108 280SE 280SEL and W113 280SL pagoda– 2519 units of this very unique 300SEL built. In forty years of watching Hemmings, Craigs, eBay, Car Buyer, Star Magazine we have seen maybe 15 for sale...this type was worldwide delivery so....it’s trulya rare bird. The engine compartment looks unmolested from delivery.

Last NY inspection sticker on the windshield is 1981. Comes withoriginal tool kit, original Beckerradio, original spare tire, trunk solid, bottom rockers solidfloors, original carpet, original cognac leather seats all still pliable, no rips tears in any of the seats all rubber seal around doors still like new, has one original master key, and a new valet key, brown dashboard in un-cracked. The emergency fixture for closing the sliding sun roof in case of electrical failure is still in place and looks as though it has never been touched.
