1983 Mercedes 380 SEL in good condition. W126 Body type.Comes with the original window sticker and owners manual.Car is original from Southern California. We brought it to Virginia in Sept. 2003. At the time it had 79,000 Miles.It was used as a daily driver, but after 2009 it was garaged and only used occasionally. It is time to find a new owner.
Car is mechanically sound with exception of power steering. During storage the seals have started sweating as was noticed by a little oil on the garage floor.Car has new front bushings and new rear wheel bearings. All less than 2,000 miles ago.Car has a new Virginia safety inspection.
Body work has some minor dings and scrapes. Car had a minor fender bender in 2013 which resulted in the right rear quarter being repainted. Overal paint is in OK condition. Car is rust free, but there are some chips in the paint and overall the clearcoat is full of swirl marks.
Interior is complete. No tears in leather seats or dashboard. Front seats are fully functional. Rear seat can recline, but the cable between the motor and the slide, speedometer type, is worn out.Seat belts are height adjustable. Leather covering of the pillar at both sides near the adjustment points has come loose, with a small tear on the driver side.
Engine is in good shape, transmission shifts smooth.
