Seven Hills Motorcars is very proud to offer this low mileage 1985 Mercedes Benz 380SL in excellent condition. It looks nice, runs great, and is an awesome driver. The car has amazing service history and comes with $11,000 in receipts from maintenance over the years. The market on the 560SL is absolutely red hot right now and this example is priced to sell. Very low mileage and original examples of the R107 Mercedes SL are exceptionally difficult to find and draw a huge premium in the current market. There is copy of the Autocheck report on this car pictured below. It is totally clean, shows no accident history, and verifies the low mileage. The low original mileage is also verified not only by the condition of the car, but also by the clear Ohio title, pictured below, showing the mileage as "Actual."
This Mercedes is verified as "numbers matching" meaning the engine in the car is the correct and original unit that was installed in the factory new. Very importantly this 560SL has the "vehicle data card" from the Mercedes factory, which is pictured below. It shows the original engine number to be "116962 12 033281." We have checked the engine and confirmed that same engine number stamped on the left side of the engine block. All of the paint and trim codes are also correct and match the vehicle data card and the data tag by the radiator.
I have personally put over 140 miles on this Mercedes over the past month. During that time the car was flawlessly reliable with absolutely no issues and a pleasure to drive. This 560SL comes with both the soft-top and auxiliary hardtop. This is an excellent opportunity to own a classic Mercedes that is ready to be used and enjoyed at an unbeatable value. One could easily buy this car now and sell it for more than the purchase price in years to come. This Mercedes is finished in the beautiful and highly desirable color combination of Signal Red (568) over Palomino Light Brown interior (274) with a Black soft-top (740). This is the correct and original color scheme as verified by the codes on the data tag by the radiator and vehicle data card both pictured below. Please peruse all of the photos, video, and other information below to get a true sense of clean and nice this 560SL really is.
The car comes with a massive amount of receipts from service and maintenance. Also included with the car are the original owners manual, metal plate with the original owners name and car information, books, tool kit, convertible top wrench, spare tire and rim, jack, maintenance booklet, Becker radio card, cruise control card, warranty booklet, climate control card, and miscellaneous other items from when the car was sold new, which are all pictured below. The previous owner purchased the car in 2004 from Germain Lexus in Naples, FL. There is also an odometer statement from that sale showing that the car had 41,215 miles at the time.
As a side note, this Mercedes is not a dealer auction vehicle. We hand pick each car after careful inspection. Our classics come from owners who expect their cars to go to someone that will give the vehicle the same care and attention as they did. We invite and encourage you to examine the car in person or have the car inspected. Please take the time to scrutinize each picture. We photograph each vehicle to the greatest extent so you can feel confident about your purchase. If you have a question about the 560SL, just give us a call.
