This desirable 280SL is in very good condition inside and out. This car was ordered as a US spec car with German delivery at the factory. So the 1st owner took delivery of it at the factory in Germany, prior to transporting it to America. The badge on the grille tells this story, it is the badge given to cars that were US spec with German factory delivery. This car was ordered from the factory without a hardtop (hardtop delete)thus it is a factory roadster. 040 Black is the most rare andmost desirable color for a w113 chassis pagoda car, very few wereproduced. The color combinationbecomes more desirable with its original red interior to complement the 040 black paint.The paint is bright and shiny and presents very well. The red leather seats are in very goodoriginal condition.This car was fitted with a very rare option from the factory, LSD (limited slip differential).
