1976 Mercedes W115 230.4 or /8 Mercedes. This is the last year of manufacture of this great classic Mercedes Benz.

1976 Mercedes W115 230.4 survivor. An incredible ORIGINAL unmolested example.

The car is in its original paint in the desirable Pastellgrau (Pastel Grey/off white) the paint is in very good shape other than the rear wings/trunk lid. There are no dents or dings in the body, NO filler and NO rust. The paint on the rear wings and trunk lid is crazed due to age and sun. It is particularly bad on the passenger (right) side rear wing and has flaked off in a couple of patches (see pics). Really the rear quarter of the car needs to be repainted. The interior of the car is all TOTALLY ORIGINAL and in good condition. The car has A/C but the compressor had been removed (and I am told serviced but I do not know if this is true) when I bought the car and comes separately – I never refitted it. The rear bumper has some small folds in it (see pic).

The car is a Florida car and has been all its life the car has NO ROT AT ALL. When I bought the car I was told it had been the Homestead Air Force base staff car although I have not attempted to verify this.

All of the trim and bright work is in excellent condition. The hub caps on this car are very good with NO dents or scratches. The car had 4 new Uniroyal white wall tires put on 3-years ago they have had almost no use.

Mechanically the car starts, runs and drives well with no fluid leaks. I have kept it in storage for the last 3-years and I have realized that I am never going to get round to putting it back on the road. It starts right up but should be recommissionedif it is going to be used daily.

Clean and clear Florida title in my name.

These 230.4 cars are under priced and like all classic Mercedes their time will come. The car should make a very sound investment for someone with storage or a nice daily driver with a bit of TLC.

The car comes with its original handbooks and tool roll.
