1985 Mercedes Benz 300D. "The best or nothing"

1985 W123 TURBO DIESEL.Vehicle is in very good condition.Paint is a strong 7 out of 10,

paint is not original paint, but very good quality.Seats have no tears, headliner is in excellent condition.

Dash is in very good shape with the exception of crack near right speaker (see picture).Passenger window has a few scratches on the inside.

Door panels are in excellent condition.First aid kit is complete

ready to administer care to any boo-boo.The transmission shifts properly.

The engine is strong and runs at the proper temperature.

The oil pressure is within specs.The engine immediately fires to life.Trunk (or boot) for my European friends is perfect with no rust and includes spare and original tool pouch.All lights, cruise control, air conditioner,

electric mirror and windows function properly.

I have (personally) replaced a number of components on the car just so I had a starting place on condition.

New fan belts

New Michelin tires (Couple thousand miles, lots of tread left)

New voltage regulator

New upper and lower oil cooler linesPITA to change.

New rack damper bolt

New engine mounts

New engine shocks

New Bilstein front shocks

New Bilstein Steering damper

Numerous vacuum hoses

Transmission filter and fluid change

Rear differential fluid change

New front and rear flex discs (see picture)

Power steering filter

All brake lines (ATE brand)

Rear axle boots (see picture)

Upper and lower radiator hose also short bypass hose

New thermostat

Valves adjusted

New Bosch fuel injectors and adjusted (shimmed) to "pop" at factory spec

Glow plugs reamed and new Monarch glow plugs installed

Rebuilt spare turbo charger and produces 10PSI ( original turbo will be included, not rebuilt--original)

New Duracell AGM battery

New ATE front rotors with new ATE brake pads

New front brake sensors (Mercedes brand)

New radiator because I broke the nipple on the return line (original radiator will be included)

Have 2 keys.Original and new one from Mercedes dealer

Rubber protector on rear bumper-drivers side needs some looking at
