1983 Mercedes 300SD

1983 Mercedes Benz 300 SD Turbo Diesel
My father has owned this car for 14 years... We have driven it to Miami Florida and to Providence Rhode Island over the years. It has never let us down.
The good:
Runs and drive very well.
Have had many parts replaced over the years. (Tires have about 5,000 miles on them)
Brakes are smooth with no vibration.
Transmission shifts a little hard but we've been told that it's normal for a diesel benz.
New heater fan.
Nice blue leather transplanted from another Benz.
The bad
It failed VA inspection due to a rear wheel bearing.
We bought the bearings but have not fixed it.
That is all that needs repaired for VA inspection. A $300-$400 job for labor.
A/C needs recharged. We have a new evaporator and filter.
Cruise control is in and out of operation.
Door locks not working. (Need to track down a vacuum leak. Should fix it)
Some oil leaks on engine.
The car is not perfect, but has always provided us reliable transportation. It's been our extra car and has served us well. Kinda sad to see it go.
