1949 Mercury coupe original- overdrive flathead V8

Description

This is a survivor, Texas, New Mexico rust free '49 Merc...no patch panels or rust repairs. All gauges work as they should (even radio works) . New Coker bias look radial tires (five), heater and vent system overhauled, two new 6 volt Optima batteries in parallel for more power, six volt. Original upholstery in nice condition, sweet running flat motor with no issues, (very smooth and quiet) original two tone paint colors (one respray), re-chromed bumpers etc, rides and drives super nice. This car starts with just a touch of the starter button...hot or cold. New carb and overdrive parts. The clock says 57000 miles, I was told this is correct but New Mexico says car is too old to document mileage. These original Mercs don't get much nicer! Clear, clean title in my name and in hand!
