Description

Solid Black on Black 1972 Cougar Xr7, I have owned this car for 8 years now, I love to drive it, however between work, house repairs and trying to spend quality time with my wife and two little girls; I don't have the time or the money tokeep thisBlack cat. From the documentation Ireceivedwhen I bought it. I am the fourth owner. She started her live in California 72-1996, then Idaho from 1996 to 2008. 2008 to 2016 it has been in Canada.Current mileage reads 44816miles, I have put on 11000miles on it since 2008. when I bought it the mileage was 33637miles. I do not know if theodometer hasturned over or not, I can only go by what I was told when I boughtit back in 2008.With the exception of the air conditioning not working the car is mechanical sound with most of the major components being replaced since I have own it. The paint is showing her age and has a few rust spots. She looks good from twenty feet. Tires are in great shape. 14' Magnum 500 rims with cougar center caps. the rims are old and are showing their age.

Unfortunately it is a non-matching numbers car. The original engine spun a bearing in 2009I replaced it with another 351 Cleveland2V that I had in a rust bucket 1972 cougarthat I had. The engine had the heads done, and new bearings, seals and gaskets back in 2006.The engine has anEdelbrockPerformer Intake, Edelbrock 600 Carb, Mild cam, Pertronix ignition,2014 I replaced the duel exhaust, dynomax mufflers, 2015 new plugs/wires, water pump. 2014 the transmission was actingup so in 2015,I had to switched out the original FMX transmission with another FMX transmission that I had from my Rusty Cougar. I replaced all the seals on the transmission before it was installed.

Interior- Seats are in good condition, carpets not bad, all gauges except the clock and low fuel indicator light, are in working order. I replaced the rim horn. the steering wheel is out of a brown Xr7 and has been dyed black. drivers side door panel is warped and is starting to crack at the arm rest, passenger side door panel is warped a little. one small crack in dash by the right of the glove box. two smalltears in the headliner/I have a replacement headliner. I put on a dash cap and replaced console lid. I also have replacement rubber for around the passenger door window. I alreadyreplaced the driver's side.I have tried my best to describe the car I have more photos that I can email if neededI also shot a video and put it on Youtube to give you a better idea of the car. I am having trouble loading the video with my slow upload speed, but should be on line Mondayhttps://youtu.be/78no-2ADJ6sIfyou have any questions or need more pics, send me an email. As with most vehicle sales. sold as is where is.

Buyer is responsible for shipping, however the car is located in Regina Saskatchewan Canada. It is located 90 miles north of the Montana border. For addition $200.00, I am willing to drive the car to the three nearestAmerican commercial airportseither Minot ND, Williston ND or BismarckND. When you factor in that the cougargets 17mpg on a good day, anddriving 4hrs to meet you and drive back in a second carfor only$200.00 I would be luck to break even, but it might helpthe buyer out and I get one last cruisein the cougarcar.Regina does offer 2 daily direct flights from Minneapolis.

2008 replaced thegas tank, pioneer CD player with remote

2009 changed the engine, rad, lower ball joints and idler arm, deck lid weather stripping, and a new rim blow horn switch

2014 new exhaust, rear shocks, added a rear sway bar, new electronic sequential turn signal board
