Description

This is a pretty solid builder car of a very desireable model. It has a very managable amount of a few small rust spots in the typical places - a couple of pinhole spots in the very lower quarters and maybe a quarter size spot in the lower passenger door skin. Very repairable stuff. Straight body, just one very small dent that is easy access from inside the trunk. It does need some replacement floor pan pieces due to rust in some low lying places. Not big holes, just thin spots and a couple of rust through cracks. The car was partially disassembled by the previous owner and in addition to the generally good condition pieces that were removed, there are also a lot of included duplicate parts from a 4 door model that was parted out. Extra bumpers, hood, fenders, grille and tail pieces, gauges, and more to choose the best pieces from. The glass is good, trunk is loaded with trim that was removed, engine runs smooth and sounds good but I haven't put stuff back together enough to try and drive it. Several large boxes of extra removed stock parts too. Some of the interior stuff (back seat for example) is really nice and some not so much (like headliner and front seat). Factory color is the silver turquoise. This would also be a great build candidate for a 60's style racer or street machine as it is the body style that the factory used for the racers. Obviously these cars have a very distinctive look when completely assembled. I really like the looks of them and the factory color this one is, just have too many of these kind of projects that I don't have time for so need to sell some. Reserve is low to help make that happen. I do have a 9" rearend housing of the correct width that might also be available to the buyer for a bit more. Shipping is the sole responsibility of the buyer. I understand that U-Ship and other private carriers can be a good option. My work schedule is pretty flexible and I should be available for help with loading. If paid for with any kind of check, I would need it enough in advance of pickup to verify that it is valid. Vehicle and parts need to be picked up within 45 days of auction close.
