Description
1976 Mercury Cougar XR-7. Paint is a bit faded, body all original. Runs, drives, all there. Needs a good loving home. Interior is in pretty decent condition as well. Brand new Cooper back tires, fronts have great tread but some evidence of dry rot on sidewalls. I got her around the block a few times, but if I was going to drive her, I would change them out.
This car is a rare find, and for it's age and price is in good condition.

On Aug-31-16 at 20:46:02 PDT, seller added the following information:UPDATE: THESE ARE VERY GOOD PICS OF THE CAR. The paint is more faded than it appears to be in these pics. The lighting was like perfect and the more I look at them the more I feel it necessary to disclose that these are really good pics, and the car really does not look quite as nice as it looks here. Also, the wheels are a bit pitted and rusty. Just being honest. A realistic antique car buyer would probably expect that, I did say the paint is faded. I just want to make it perfectly clear.
Also, there was a little power steering noise when I took it around the block, but I haven't flushed that out at all, and I don't plan on touching it. I also think the front right tire might be rubbing the front mudflap a little on hard turns. Brakes seem to be good, radio worked, then didn't. There is an amp in the trunk as well. I have not dug into heat/ac stuff.

THIS CAR IS NOT PERFECT, do not expect a 10. More like a strong 6 that could make an easy 8.
BE REALISTIC and ASK BEFORE YOU BID! PLEASE!
