1968 MGB convertible, rust free
Description
the ground up restoration was started by the previous owner. There isn't any rust anywhere on the car. I assume new floorboards, sills are new with excellent workmanship and verygood paint. Indications are that the engine, transmission, front end, rear end have been rebuilt. It has a new stainlee steel exhaust. I installed new front calipers and discs and rear wheel cylinders and shoes along with new flex lines. Also has a new brake master cylinder. The clutch and clutch master and slave cylinder are new. It has a new gas tank, fuel pump and rebuilt carbs. The light, wipers, w/s washers horn, gas gauge all work. The top is like new, the tonneau cover is new and the carpet in the trunk is new. Also has a hidden cutoff switch. The negatives- if you look close, you will see that the white on the trunk lid is a slightly different shade, probably had a darker primer under the white. There a a couple chips in the paint, door edges, trunk edge. The hazard flasher quit working. THE MILAGE is incorrect. the later model dash has different size speedometer. milage is unknown. 5 new 7 year old pirelli tires, still have the nubs. The '68 B with the 5 main bearing engine is the most desirable. many old or original partd a books included.
