Up for sale is a 1953 MGTD/C. It needs restoration or drive it around in barn find shape if you want. It runs and drives. The numbers....on the tag on the firewall, car no TD/C 20048, EXL NA, engine no XPAG TD3/20360. On the other tag on firewall, body type 22381, body no 19374/93547. On the octagon shape brass tag on the engine itself, XPAG 20802. On the frame horn left front corner of car frame TD/C 20048. Previous owner had the brakes done, clutch cable, hoses, generator and put in a plastic gas tank and electric fuel pump to get it driveable. The original gas tank will need to be cleaned out and the twin pumps are missing(brackets still there). Actual mileage unknown. One ding on right rear fender, tips of front fenders need work. Not much rust on the car. What you see on the top of front fenders, a little at the ends of the side curtain holder underneath. The frame has surface rust but no rust through, it's solid and all the wood I can visually see looks and feels solid. Some rust at the lip near the running board underneath(not the running boards or fram, but where the lip covers the wood). Chrome bumpers poor. Most everything there. Missing tachometer (have cable and drive), connector from carbs to air cleaner(have air cleaner). Needs interior work. Top frame in nice shape, top has a couple tears. So I told you all the bad stuff so you know what you're buying, now the good. No cracks in the windshield. Has a cool 1969 Chicago inspection sticker still on it. It start right up, runs and drives, all 4 gears and reverse work fine. You get the thumbs up all over the place, people love it on the street looking ratty like it is. Clear, open, Florida title. Thanks, any questions, feel free. If you are local and want to come see it before you bid, let me know, that would be fine. No complaining afterward. Deposit due within 24 hours, full payment within one week. If you need to line up a shipper I will hold it here for a 3 weeks as long as it's paid for. Please be serious and respectful if you bid and win, please follow through. I reserve the right to end the auction at any time for any reason. Thanks
