1979 MG MGB MK IV Convertible 2-Door 1.8L
Description
You are viewing a one owner MGB convertible, in exceptional condition. It's a California car since new car, with its original blue license plates, that were issued, when its first and only owner took delivery on 10/27/80. It has 82,506 documented miles, on its original 6 digit speedometer. The color is Vermillion Red, with its pristine original black interior. Please view the photos, and make note of the crack free original dashboard, and original upholstery, not all juiced up with Armorall. The body is rust free throughout, and every panel is original. The convertible top is new last week, however the sound system is not, as it may be the last working am/fm 8 track player left. As you can see it has wire wheels, a very rare option on later MG's. They are in excellent condition, with well balanced almost new tires. This is a matching number car, and mechanically more reliable than originally designed, with upgraded electronic ignition, and a fuel pump with a lifetime warranty. As anyone knows if you were around in the early days, you may have had the unfortunate experience, of coming face to face, with the infamous Prince of Darkness, or warm beer from Lucas refrigerators. The concentration here, was to eliminate the need for a tow truck. The exhaust is new stainless steel, and should be the last one it needs. In the boot or trunk, is the original jack and tools, and top cover. California allows the original blue license plates, to be re-registered to the next owner, in their home state, for preservation. I can do the leg work at my end, with just an insurance card with your home state address. I have a low reserve, so it will sell, and give everyone a chance to have some fun, without breaking the bank. Please have your funds in order, and or, permission from your spouse, before bidding. I can arrange shipping worldwide, to your door.
Thanks for looking, and good luck bidding.
