Description

European Motor Studio is proud to offer this lovely Brooklands Green over Black 1965 MG B Roadster. Just coming out of a very long term ownership of over 30 years here in Arizona this Roadster has recently undergone a high quality paint job and mechanical refresh. The beautiful Brooklands Green paint show very well and has just had a wet sand polish and buff. Aside from a couple tiny stone chips in the front nose and a small crack in the paint around the button in the body for the convertible top/tonneau cover the paint was done very well. All of the chrome and trim are in excellent condition showing very lite age and the wires look like they have recently been refreshed along with new rubber on all four corners. The interior shows excellent with no real wear to the vinyl seats or carpets. The dash looks like it has been restored at one point and show well. All of the gauges are clear and in working order (gas gauges is intermittent). The engine has gone through a recent rebuild and in top running condition. Starts right up with the choke and then falls into the proper idle without any issues. The engine pulls incredibly strong and the gearbox is nice and tight without and crisp. The clutch has an excellent feel with no signs of slipping. The brakes are excellent and free from any fade or noises. The steering is very solid and tight and the suspension feels tight and dialed in. All of the electronics are operating as designed including all of the exterior lights, turn signals and windshield wipers. The undercarriage is nice and clean and free from any signs of rust. The body is very straight and solid showing no signs of any prior damage. The convertible top appears to be brand new with no fitment issues and the vinyl tonneau cover appears to be new as well with no fitment issues. The car comes with the spare tire in the trunk, the jack and the knock off hammer. This is a lovely example of the iconic classic British sports car in an excellent color not usually seen on these.
