The Mitsubishi has been my daily driver for quite sometime now and I have been all over the U.S. in it but its time to move on to something new. You will get more looks in this Pajero compared to any Jeep or Land Cruiser.. Its yellow and RHD! It's your turn to take this masterpiece and enjoy it for the rest of your life.
Body and Interior
The body, frame, chassis, and rails are straight and solid. It's a very reliable easy to maintain rig that's gets you anywhere you need. The interior is very clean with no rips or tears. There are awesome 80's seat covers included in the purchase! The paint is a very unique yellow color with sweet original 80's decals perfect for RADWOOD .
Engine and Transmission
This Mitsubishi is powered by a very strong 2.5L 4 cylinder Turbodiesel engine paired with a 5 speed manual transmission that works flawlessly. It can handle freeway speeds, towing, whatever the task is its there to help you. The handling is great with its SWB. Odometer reads 127,000KM which is about 79,000 miles. If you know this engine it is described as the workhorse engine and will last a lifetime.
Wear and Tear
This Pajero is very clean and one of a kind. To my knowledge the car has spent its life in sunny California and imported from Japan before that. It does have a little rust near the rear door but nothing major. Floors are perfect. AC is hooked up and compressor blows but it is R12 and needs a re-charge. There are some squeaks when you drive around but why would you want an 80s Japanese SUV that doesn't squeak?
Title and Registration
I have a clean California title in my name and registration is good until April 2019. If you know about these rigs its very hard to register in California. It is titled in my name and registered as a 1986 Mitsubishi Pajero Diesel! No smog needed. It's a very unique rig unlike others on the market. It has been regularly maintained. Runs and drives great, is fun to drive and ready to enjoy as-is. It has loads of character that's hard to duplicate. The VIN is 00000L044G3002239
