1935 La Fayette by Nash
Amazing carCheck out the privacy curtains in the rear.
The interior is very nice, almost like new, the door panels, seats, carpets and headliner were all professionallyredone and look great. Even the bottom of the trunk is carpeted to match.
After sitting for many years in nice inside storage we cleaned the points and the carb, installed a new battery, added fresh gas and a little marvel mystery oil in the cylinders,it started easily and runs great. The mechanical brakes work great, and it shifts easily.I just put two new Wide White Wall tires and tubes on the rear, the front white walls were obviously painted on a number of years ago and could stand replacing.
The original oil change tag in the door jam shows 34000 miles in 1975, the speedo shows 39055 now.
It has a very solid body with no signs of rust or rust repairs, see photos. The paint is very old but still very presentable. The vinyl on the roof has a tear that has a piece of tape on it.The clear title reflects the engine number not the serial number and can be easily corrected when the car is registered by the new owner. This was common in the earlier part of the last century in Texas and many other states.
