1987 Nissan Be-1 Unique and Rare Nice
Description
I have decided to sell my 1987 Nissan Be-1. It was listed as a 1980 in the item specifics area of this Ebay auction because for US cars all VINs have more digits and it would not accept this foreign VIN with less numbers. This is a Japanese Domestic Market (JDM) car that was sold only in Japan. It was a concept car that made it's debut at the 1985 Tokyo Motor Show and in 1987 wasput into limited production early in the year, with just under 10,000 units produced. It's the first in a series of four retro styled cars dated 1987-1991.A power sliding sunroof was available which is a very desirable and sought after option on these cars. I bought this car in August of 2015 from the same dealer in Florida that I boughtmy PAO from which is featured in another ad.This car is an ORIGINAL example includingpaint with very few minor touch ups. The interior is all original as well with seat covers that look good I left them on. There is no radio in the car andit has no power steering. It steers quite easily however because the car itself is very light at only 1550 lbs. The fabric sunroof opens and closes viaan electric switch. There are a lot of cool retro styling cues on this car that make it truly distinctive. The car has always been garaged when not in use, and has been given the best of care. The car presently has 110,000 km (68,000 miles)on the odometer. It is in very good mechanical condition alsowith like new tires. The brakes and exhaust are in great condition as well. This car is a blast to drive and the right hand steering is a real novelty. It is an instant hit at car shows and cruise nights and it's guaranteed that you won't see yourself coming and going.I can email you a folder of many more pictures which will include pictures of my 1989 PAO as well, but that's another story. I am located in Stevens Point, Wisconsin 54482. I will assist in meeting with you or your agent for pick up in any way that I can. I can offer some assistance in finding a reputable transport company, as I have used several in the past.I prefer to speak in person as opposed to emails and texts, so if you have any questions, shoot me your phone number and a good time to call or request mine.
Thank you very much for your interest.
