It is a beautifully restored 113000 original mile 1950 Oldsmobile Deluxe Coupe -

Documentation available that date back to the original purchase. With numerous upgrades as

listed below.

  • Engine is a 1956 324 bored .060 over, balanced. Crank is ground .010/.010 Cam is Engle (RV-1) ground from an original billet - not a regrind.
  • Electric Ignition, Edelbrock 4 barrel carburetor with phenolic heat spacer.
  • Cylinder heads have harden seats, new valves springs and 3 angle valve seats.
  • Transmission is a rebuilt 1953 dual range hydramatic.
  • Front and rear suspension and original shocks have been rebuilt, extra heavy duty stabilizer bars installed, along with 2 inch drop front spindles.
  • Wildwood front disk brakes and dual master cylinder.
  • New “Fusick” fuel tank and sending unit.
  • Vintage air conditioning in trunk location to preserve the original heater/defroster and ventilation system.
  • Electric windshield wiper motor along with 12 volt conversion including lights, ignition, gauges, clock, radio and heater motor.
  • All flat glass has been replaced, along with new weather striping around doors, trunk, window fur, and vent window rubber.
  • New whitewall tires, paint is resent clear coat lite metallic blue, stainless is in excellent condition with many chrome bright work items re-plated as needed.
  • Upholstery is done in original style, pattern and material. Front and rear seat belts installed for safety.
  • This car drives and rides beautifully with no rattles, squeaks or air leak noises.

    Prior to the restoration it was inspected and was found to be absolutely rust free. The floor

    boards and trunk pan are pristine. The car was originally purchased from Van Ness Oldsmobile

    in San Fransisco where it was completely undercoated in wheel houses and undercarriage

    including most of the frame.
