Description

Up for auction is my 1963 Oldsmobile Super 88. This is the top of the line in the 88 series sedans. This car is all original and has the "Ultra High Compression" 330 HP 394 CI V8, mated to a Hydramatic Auto transmission. The car is all original except the new (8 months) professional paint job. The interior is all original and in near perfect condition. The carbureter has been rebuilt and the car has had a complete tune up and it runs and drives excellent. It has power steering and AC. The AC is not currently working but probably could with a little work. It has all new tires with a few hundred miles on them. This car is "turn key" and ready to go cruising. The underneath looks as good as the top and there is NO RUST on the floorboards and frame. the trunk is solid and does have some surface rust only. This was a rust free car before it was painted according to the person who painted it. I bought it from the third owner and it was an "estate car" garaged it's whole life. All the lights and accessories work except the old AM radio and I haven't looked to see why because I didn't care. I like to hear the powerfull V8. It has a new exhaust and runs quiet like it did from the factory. The person who painted it did not paint the door jams but it was a white car originally and with some cleaning and/or touch up it would be easy to spruce them up, they only have some yellowing and minor surface rust. I have the reserve set at about half of what the "Old car price guide" values it at in it's current condition. This car will only go up in value and if you take care of it it will only increase in value. This model is a VERY low production vehicle. Most of the 88"s were Dynamic 88's or Jetstar 88's. It has gobs of power and is a pleasure to drive. I have this car for sale locally and I reserve the right to end this auction early.

PLEASE DO NOT BID IF YOU HAVE ZERO OR NEGATIVE FEEDBACK WITHOUT MESSAGING ME FIRST to explain the situation. Please ask questions and I will answer them honestly and promptly. I always advise that bidders check the car out in person but if you can't I will do everything I can to make you comfortable bidding. I have a 100% positive feedback as a seller and buyer and I want to keep it that way. Thanks for your interest and happy bidding, someone is going to get a steal on this great classic car!
