This car is completely functional. The air conditioning system works and blows cold air.All four power windows function normally, as does the cruise control system, windshield wiper mechanism, and defogger. The trunk release button, gearshift, transmission, and all the interior lights work. The cloth velour seats are not torn, scratched, burned, stained, or blemished. The carpeting is very clean and the chrome and paint are extremely clean.None of the windows are chipped or cracked. The car shows extraordinarily little wear and tear.

The seller acquired the car in 2018 and has driven it less than 1,000 miles since then. This car is in nearly pristine shape; it recently won a second place trophy (see picture) at the AACA South Florida Region’s Biltmore Way Classic Car Show and it could easily win at bigger national-level competitions. The car was recently fitted with new American Classic P225/75R15 1.6” whitewall tires.A new power antenna was also installed.Receipts and documents relating to the tires and antenna are included as part of this listing.

Numerous historical documents related to the initial purchase of the car by its first owner are included.Among such documents are a copy of the window sticker as well as the original Oldsmobile dealer invoice, sales contract, GM/Oldsmobile computer punch card, “Official Odometer (Mileage) Statement,” and “Oldsmobile Pre-Delivery Inspection Procedure Check Sheet.”The original owner’s manual is included as are two original 1984 Oldsmobile sales brochures, one for Oldsmobile's 1984 luxury line (which included the Ninety-Eight) and one for the '84 Ninety-Eight Regency specifically. Also part of this listing are a signed original“Agreement Registration Schedule A” and two original pamphlets, one entitled "1984 Oldsmobile Owner’s Manual Supplement: Service & Maintenance, Specifications and Emergency Information" and one entitled "1984 Oldsmobile Warranty and Owner Assistance Information (Except California)."

There are some imperfections in the car.The headliner is bubbling downward and sagging a bit (see picture) in the middle of the roof. There are cracks (pictured) on each side of the steering wheel near the horn buttons. There is a little bit of condensation on the inside of the driver’s-side exterior opera lamp.Whether the stereo cassette player works is unknown. The seller is aware of no other problems or defects in the car.
