Description

1969 Oldsmobile Cutlass S. 350 Rocket engine with automatic transmission. 12 Bolt rearend. The car is complete. This is a AC car with all components still attached. The car is in complete original unrestored form. Trim is in good condition. You could do a full restore, or daily driver with some brake repair and upholstery work. Would make an excellent car to complete a 442 clone. I stuck a battery in it and fed fuel to it and the car fired up and seemed to run good with no strange noises, went in forward and reverse. It will need brake work done as it has sat for many years. The floors and trunk are in excellent condition for the year for rust. The roof is very solid and not decade but does have rust pin holes throughout it from the original vinyl top that has been removed.
The 1969 models received only a minor facelift such as a new split grille and vertical taillights with the same model and engine offerings. A new three-speed Turbo Hydra-matic 350 was added to the option list to replace the two-speed Jetaway automatic. Headrests were made standard equipment due to federal safety mandate and the ignition switch moved from the instrument panel to the steering column, which also was designed to lock the steering wheel. This ignition/steering wheel interlock, found on all 1969-model General Motors passenger cars, debuted one year before the federal government mandated it on all 1970 models.
