1928 Essex Phaethon touring car

1928 Essex Phaethon touring car. All there but needs total restoration. Photo of it all together taken: 1968 Victoria, Australia. It is right hand drive but it also comes with a left hand drive transmission and left hand steering gear. So it could be changed over to left hand drive. The Body is in excellent condition. Engine is supposed to run, turns over but has not run since 1968. Inspection sticker on windshield reads: Victoria, Australia 1968. Tires are good. Wood spoke rims were restored many years ago. Former owner started restoring it in 1968. It has been packed away inside all these years. One very tiny rot spot on lower left cowl panel(see photo) Slight depression on right rear back from some one pushing with their hand to hard. Appears to be complete except for maybe a few brake rods(easy to make). Top bows are excellent but no top material. Seats are ratty but there. I have the original radiator mascot. Some extra parts. All body parts are there, just not shown in photos. Clear Florida Title. I’m selling off all my cars and retiring.
