For sale is aCustom Built 1992 Howland Roadster convertible rumble seat roadster.
This is NOT a kit car but a custom built car.It isthe secondof only two ever built. The original Howland Roadster had no rumble seat. Please google 'Howland Roadster' if you would like to see great video of the original car on the road.
The Howland Roadstersare named for Frederick A. Howland the designer and builder.

Car is hand crafted 16 gauge electric welded steel body with custom made fenders and body components from original molds. Sale will include sheepskin seat covers and floor carpet panels as seen in photos.

This Howland Roadsterutilizes a modified Impala wagon chassiswith a new Chevrolet 350 Targetmaster engine, 4 bbl carburetor, turbo 350 transmission, power steering, power brakes, air conditioning, and tilt steering wheel.

The roadster is equipped with complete V.D.O. gauges mounted on a 1/2" solid walnut hand crafted dash, an ADS and Alpine sound system, Corvette C3 seats, fog lights and cowl lamps. The roadster has originally designed and hand built wheel covers. Pleaserefer tophotos.The mold for these covers will be included with sale.

Again, this is acustom built carand NOT a kit car.It is an original design and construction.
This Howland Roadster was first registered in Massachusetts in 1992 andithasnever been driven in rain or snow. It is from a non-smoking household. It spent most of it's life covered and garaged. It has had very limited use. The roadster was used primarily to drive my small childrenin the rumble seat locally when they were young.

This is the only rumble seat Howland Roadster ever built andit has fewer than 5000 miles since built. The custom rumble seat is operated and controlled by a switch on the dashboard.

The Howland Roadster is currently registered in Massachusetts and has a current inspection sticker.

Actual Vin # MA24893 This car was issued a new Vin # by the Ma. State RMV when it was registered in 1992. All documents are available for new buyer.
