1926 Essex/Hudson antique radio equipped car

Description

1926 Hudson/Essex sedan. This car is equipped with a period accessory built in AM radio from 1927. Radio made by Heinaphone company and includes their special radio dash panel. If you are a radio collector,or not, this is one very rare car radio. Check the dash photo. The car runs and drives fine. New brakes, tires, wheels redone and varnished. Engine starts right up and runs well. No smoke! New coil, points, carb cleaned and set up right. Muffler is there but needs replacing. Runs cool with a good radiator. Gas tank removed, cleaned, reinstalled, and new electric fuel pump installed which works great. NO rust or rot of any kind that I can find. Body solid, doors all close right. A nice survivor. Running boards redone and fenders all painted black. Yes the blue body needs a repaint and is all original. All the glass is great. Interior is mostly original, a bit tattered, but usable. Newer floor mats. New top so no worries there. All gauges work including speedometer. The radio is not operational. It's all there and needs restoring. I do have paperwork, schematics, on the radio that go with the car. No reserve, someone will get a great deal. This is a cool auto that is a fun car to drive.
