Description

Available for your consideration is a 1969 Road Runner Convertible. This is a 383 V8 B5 Blue car with a 4 speed transmission. This is a project car that was started but as you can see pictured it has not been completed. This vehicle does not have the identification plate.. Was a B5 vehicle that at one point years ago was painted yellow as you can see. By the mural on the truck this had to be done years ago. A very solid overall car. The front of the vehicle was damaged and repaired incorrectly years ago. Not bad but the rail had some damage. So another complete front was found and installed professionally at all the factory spot welds. You would never know the job was done unless you were told as your being told. This front end has all been professionally painted with PPG B-5 and clear coated. The drivetrain is ready to be set in. Floor boards are extremely solid. The trunk floor was replaced at one time with a 2 piece floor my intentions were to remove in and install a new one piece floor that are now available. Doors, fenders and hood completely solid...Quarters were reworked at one time don't seem horrible but will need redone. No bubbling at all just can tell at one point they were redone by looking at wheel well. There is a crated 383 Jasper engine ready to drop in with the original 4 speed transmission. I have a set of 4 all period correct 14 inch magnum wheels with tires. I personally don't care for the white letters which could be turned in. Tread is like new. The wheels are excellent shape. I was not in the position to sell this car. My intentions were 100% to restore. A situation arose where cash is needed asap so I decided to list this car. I do not have many pictures so my word has to be taken on this but I will spell this car out the best I can. I purchased this from a close friend who is all about Mopars. His brother owned it and he too came into a cash crunch at the time and sold it to me. With this being said I picked up the car and had it stored for a few years without ever having time to get much done to it. My friend held all the parts so they would not get misplaced. The 383 Crated is at one friends house he is to install the drivetrain, which have not gotten that far and my other friend has the car stored in his building with all the parts. I do not have everything in one place due to this was a last minute decision to list the car and everything is safe where it is. If the car sells I will have the engine taken to where the car and parts are so it will be easy to pickup all in one spot. The vehicle will need to be hauled as will all the parts and drivetrain. The interior is out of the car and it all goes with the car..The steering column is out and some front suspension components but that too will all be with the car. The car is missing a period correct rear bumper but I do believe I have a 1968 Rear bumper to go with the car. Most everything should be there but possibly a few incidentals. This car was completely together when my friend had it and he disassembled it so I know everything is in one place. This is a total restoration the interior, top and the whole car will need be redone for the most part the engine transmission is ready to drop in...I never had it put back in yet cause I wanted to do a rottisere restoration on the car. A real nice car that will be beautiful when done. Even under the circumstances I will not give the car away, they are too few and far between to find to do that even under my current circumstances. If you have any questions feel free to contact me. I will be glad to answer all questions to the best of my ability. This is a very solid project that will make an excellent vehicle when completed. Thank you for viewing...
