"1972 Plymouth Duster 340"
Description
Selling my 1972 Plymouth Duster 340 tribute. The restoration on the car has just been completed and only has 20 miles on it since completed, the car is fresh and new. Only putting the Plymouth Duster up for sale because I purchased the B body I have been wanting. The car started out from the factory as a slant six automatic column shift car. I have owned the car for 4 years, and this Plymouth Duster was a very clean original car when I purchased it to do a 340 clone. The only rust that the car had was the very bottom of the rear quarter panels. They were cut out and replaced with new aftermarket panels. The car was taken apart, and all body and paint was done professionally and then put back together. The 340 stripe kit was installed professionally too. The floors, trunk floor, rocker panels, frame rails, and the rest of body panels are original to the car and rock solid. The interior in the Duster is all original except for the front bucket seats. They are 4 way adjustable pro car seats with custom made floor brackets. The automatic console and floor shifter was purchased used and completely refurbished. The steering column collar was purchased new and installed to complete the package. The glass is all good and the windshield is new. Side marker lights are new, tail lights have new seals, and grille is detailed. The 340 is a 71 date coded for the car with a 727 auto transmission. And the car has a 8 3/4 rear diff installed with 391 sure grip. The 340 is completely new from the carb to the oil pan. Has J heads with an Extreme Energy Comp Cam, is bored 40 over and has 10.5:1 Pistons, rods resized, crank turned, balanced, lifters, dual roller timing chain, oil pan, windage tray, heads rebuilt, 750 cfm edelbrock carb, intake manifold air gap, conversion electronic ignition with advance curve, valve covers, extreme energy air cleaner, water pump, fuel pump, spark plug wires, distributor cap, spark plugs, alternater, starter, I could keep going on and on (etc.) the Plymouth Duster has many new engine parts. If you need to know more about the engine feel free to ask. The 727 is rebuilt and has a 2200 stall converter. Has new shocks, brakes and complete new exhaust from the headers to the turbo mufflers to the tail pipes. The exhaust is aluminized. And the car has a new drive shaft, and is balanced. Brand new fuel tank with sender unit installed. New front bumper, and driver quality rear bumper. All lights and components work on the car, and the wheels and tires are in good condition, battery is new. The build sheet for this car is in mint condition and is still located in the rear seat springs. I have all the numbers matching drive train for this car, from the radiator, complete engine and transmission to the drive shaft to the rear diff, and complete exhaust too. I REALLY DONT NEED ANY OF THE DRIVE TRAIN, SO AS AN EXTRA BONUS TO THE WINNING BIDDER, I WILL GIVE IT TO YOU IF YOU WANT IT WITH THE PURCHASE OF THE CAR. Like i said it is all numbers matching and in Good working condition, and very clean. The slant six is even detailed and great running condition. I do have the original hub caps for the car too. Again, if you have any questions about the car, please feel free to ask. The winning bidder has 48 hours after close of auction to wire me $500.00 deposit on car. And the rest of the funds paid for when car is picked up. I reserve the right to end auction early as car is advertised locally too. I have many more pictures of the car, eBay did not have the space for me to list them all. Thanks for looking, and your bid.
