1972 plymouth duster 340 5.6l
Description
This Duster was just painted Chrysler B5 paint code. This is the Mopar Light Blue sprayed in PPG base coat clear coat. The paint was wet sanded and buffed to perfection. The paintwork is of professional bodyshop quality. The body was very solid before restoration was started. It had both lower quarter panels welded on and the driver's side floorpan welded in. The previous owner installed a new tail light panel and trunk pan. Both bumpers were sandblasted and painted to match the car in base coat clear coat. The wheels were sandblasted and painted in single stage Argent and center caps and rings in Gloss Black. The frame is as solid as it was in 1972. The underside is painted black and floorpans were undercoated.
The seats were just recovered, a new headliner, carpet, and package tray were installed. The dash, tops of the doors, and door jambs are painted to match.
New items include:Windshield and gasketGastank and sending unitFuelpump and filterTiresside marker lampsChrome engine dress up kit
The engine compartment is clean and painted to match. At some point, the engine was replaced with a 318. The fender tag indicates it is a 340 car and the air cleaner was in the trunk. It has a fresh tune up and oil change. It starts right up, shifts well, and drives down the road.
The trunk area is painted to match, it has a new seal installed, and has a trunk carpet mat.
The car is located in Mechanicsburg, PA between Harrisburg and Carlisle. You may inspect the vehicle in person, you can call or text, or I can send additional pictures or videos. I have a Pennsylvania title in my name. You can reach Glenn at 717-645-584two.
