Was ordered new by my stepfather, took deliveryon March 5 1971 at Crocker Motors in Nederland tx,financedat gulf states oil. Not long after that it went to seven points tx. I took possessionof it in the early 80s and have cared for it ever since. In the mid 80s I repainted myself with Chromabase base/clear and epoxyprimer. Has held up well.Did not paint jambs. Car was undercoated when new,No rust, original body panels. Bumpers and mirrors were rechromed and are still nice. Motor was freshenup at 65k,just rings, inserts, bearings, timing chain, cam and lifters, still standered bore. Trans was rebuilt in the mid 90s,new clutch in the past year. Interior is still mostly original and still nice.Original weatherstrip is still good.Everything works except te fender signalsand they work sometimes.Rallys still have original centers and trim rings and are nice. Car runs and drives well. I had a correct 71 six pack on it but removed it and put the original AVS set up back on it,would considerselling it seperate.Car has been loved and cared for all of its life,I have a lot of good memories in this car and never left me walking. It is very hard letting this car go,but I need to sell a couple of cars to slim down a little. If you have any questions please call 903-352-0147 will not give out reserve. Thank you.
