1967 Plymouth Sport Fury Convertible Project Parts 383 Auto
Description
Here's a 1967 Plymouth Sport Fury convertible project car. original 383 4 bbl column automatic drivetrain was running and driving until parked about 10 years ago. Car could be restored or fixed up or used for parts. Car needs total restoration. Older paint job has the clear coat and areas of bondo peeling off (see pics).
Factory bucket seat car, power steering, manual brakes. 8 3/4 rear end. Car was painted years ago and needs a lot of body work. trunk lid is not closing, sticks while opening. rust hole in floor located on passenger floor behind the driver. trunk has some rust holes also. convertible top was torn in a few places, so it was removed. convertible top frame is solid, does have a few rust holes on the ends of the header panel.
since the 383 4 bbl motor has sat for years, we put lubricant in all 8 spark plug holes and let sit before attempting to start. put gas in carb and engine fired but did not run. removed valve covers and all rockers, etc very clean (see pic). could have had a recent valve job or head job before being parked. as of now the car is not running so priced accordingly.
Car has a clear Colorado title. Car is sold "as is" with no warranties either expressed or implied. will assist you or your transporter with loading the vehicle. Can store the car for 30 days but let us know your situation and we'll work it out.
A non refundable deposit of $300.00 is due within 24 hours of auction close. Balance due needs to be paid within 7 days of auction close whether the car is picked up or not.
