1971 Plymouth GTX Project w/ parts car
Description
Alright please read carefully. I’m sure everyone will want more pictures and a better description. I can supply you with a phone number to call if you’d like a better description or feel free to come and take a look. Both cars come with titles. There are tons of new parts and I will do my best to describe everything but seeing everything in person is the easiest way. So here we go.
Car number one is a 1971 GTX U Code car. An RS23 car. One of about 2900 made. It’s an original FC7 “in-violet” or “plum crazy” purple. I posted the fender tag in the pictures. I’ll give a quick run-down.440 4v 370 hp big block w/727 floor shift with console and bucket seats. Black interior. Purple paint with full white vinyl top and black hood/fender stripes. Factory A/C, power steering, power disc brakes. Please feel free to decode the car with the tag. Now CONDITION. This car is RUSTY. Super rusty. Rust everywhere you can think of. I have so many parts for these cars which I will attempt to list below. The car still has its original rear end under her and the original front suspension and K member. I ALSO HAVE THE ORIGINAL NUMBERS MATCHING 440 INTAKE TO PAN FRESHLY REBUILT. It was rebuilt a few years ago way before I owned it but I managed to track it down. (It’s a story in itself). No transmission sadly. This car is super rusty and will need a donor car or many parts to rebuild. With that being said here’s car number 2.
1972 Satellite Sebring plus. Original 400 auto car complete with fender tag and build sheet. Car is a shell. All I did was tear it down with hopes to build a clone of my dads 72 Roadrunner but found this GTX and this got put on hold. It would be a great donor car to tear down and piece the gtx together. The gtx needs to be saved more so. But anyways this SSP is a complete car but is a bare shell on a rotisserie right now. Cars pretty solid over all but has a few rust issues but not bad. I can better supply you with info over the phone or in person. It does come with the rotisserie and a crap ton of parts. Can easily make one beautiful car out of two. And now with the parts.
I have beyond a ton of parts for these two. Basically cleaning out my entire stash of 1971 & 1972 parts. I’ll just start listing stuff and I’m positive I’ll miss a few things too.Complete k member for SSP with discs8 3/4 rear out of SSP1971 fenders in restorable shape2 Roadrunner hoods 1 being absolutely mind to the other one being super nice and savable.Set of 71 hp manifolds2 sets of bucket seats1 rear seat2 complete dashes 1 with tachometer both complete1 mint dash frame1 mint passenger door2 1971 air cleaners2 mint front balancesSuper nice 1971 decklid with wing cut outsBumpers for both cars with bracketsA complete cowl section out of another car2 center consoles2 mint grillesRocker panel piecesTons of nice moundings including brand new lower gtx rocker mouldingsRestorable rim blow steering wheel11 inch drums with backing plates nice header panelsSpare roof and structure2 rear frame rails in nice shape still attached to quarters that were cut from another carTons of used interior piecesTons of white interior pieces brand new. Overall thousands and thousands of dollars in parts alone. I’m asking 15k because I have a lot in it. I understand it’s a ton of parts and one super rusty car that only mark Worman would need to restore. But if you research articles and other cars. This color is rare and less than 135 GTX’s were made in this color judging from other posts and articles or cars for sale. She should be saved. BEST WAY TO GET AN UNDERSTANDING OF MY CARS FOR SALE IS TO CALL ME OR COME TAKE A LOOK. The engine alone should be worth 6-7500 easy with the factory 6 pack internals freshly rebuilt. I have so many parts if you come take a look I can include more parts if need be to come to a deal. Again both cars are going for 1 price. I will not separate and need both to go. I just have no time working as much as I do. My loss is your win. Sold as is where is. Located in Easton pa 18045. Please feel free to contact me or make an offer. Thanks Larry D.
