Description

Genuine 1969 Plymouth Road Runner 2dr Hardtop. Very straight, original car with beautiful restoration. Lean, mean, green street machine and show car.

Rebuilt 383 High Performance engine. Block pad shows E 383 (1969) so engine is correct for the car but not the original block. Original 8 quart oil pan. 906 heads and headers. Comp Cams Xtreme Energy street cam (specs available). Edelbrock TM6 intake and Edelbrock 1406 Performer carb. Original Matching VIN Numbers 4-speed transmission and Hemi suspension. Sure grip rear end. Rare 3.55:1 heavy duty performance axle package. Coyote Duster air cleaner. Original Beep Beep horn. Numbers matching core support.

Painted original F5 Limelight Green. M6X black interior with bucket seats and headrests. Interior mostly original with front seats redone in matching original pattern. Has original console complete with Hurst T-handle shifter. Original premium woodgrained steering wheel. The radio is a replacement and not an original one. I do have an AM radio of the correct style which I can include in the sale. However, this Road Runner originally had an AM/FM radio, according to the Broadcast Sheet. They're pretty rare but there is a reproduction available. The carpet appears to be original and has a wear hole in it. I hesitated to replace it since it is original and haven't got around to repairing the hole. So a buyer might want to repair the original carpet or replace it.
New Firestone Redline tires from Coker Tire mounted on original Magnum 500 wheels. New trim rings. The trunk has a new original-style trunk mat and there is a correct style jack. No spare tire.

Road Runner has fender tag in place and broadcast sheet showing all original equipment and options. Car was reportedly in dry storage for about 30 years before restoration. No known rust issues. The fender tag on Road Runners was bare metal, not painted from the factory. Usually, they are very rusty like the car they are on. The fender tag on this Road Runner had no rust. The fender tag and screws were not painted during the restoration, as they originally were not. A light coat of primer was applied to preserve the tag for posterity. The primer could easily be cleaned off to take it back to the original bare metal.

Road Runner is for sale locally so auction will end if sold. Sold as is.

Call or text Rick at 435-632-8150 with questions. I didn't do any of the work on the car so I only know what I can see and what I was told but will answer anything I can.
