1971 firebird trans am clone
Description
Let me start by saying this is a clone, it was originally a firebird esprit. I have had this car for thirty years and in that time has not seen any rain or snow. Always garaged. It is in great condition And everything has been converted to a Trans Am. It has all urethane bushings in the front end. The dash has no cracks.
The ram air III 400 engine has about 10k miles on it with:cast number 69 headsported and polished intake and heads.068 lift camhei distributor900cfm carb with bigger jets front and back and smaller needles front and back
the transmission is a 350 turbo with shift kit, the front seal on the transmission leaks.
It has a factory ratchet floor shifter. A/C blows cold but the heater core is bad and has been bypassed, have a new one for it, still in the box, but has not been installed. The paint was done in 1996 along with body work. The rear quarters were replaced in 1996. I took pictures of the imperfections in the body from the age of the body work.
The rear end is a 10 bolt posi with disk breaks and 323 gears. replaced the steering box with a one and one half turn lock to lock four months ago. It has power windows and power locks. The ty rod, upper and lower arm bushings, ball joints, sway bar brackets and urethane bushings were done in 1994.
Runs and drives like new, I realize I may have left some details out, please email with any questions and I will reply quickly.
