Description

This auction is for a numbers matching 1967 Pontiac Le mans. I have the original factory invoice, manual, and warranty booklet with embossed stamp plates. It has not been restored, cloned into a GTO, or otherwise altered. The added value of this car is its originality and accompanying paperwork.
The engine is original and as an early January 1967 production run, has the matching engine YN code stamped on the block which matches the original paperwork and embossed plates in the warranty booklet. From all the casting dates I can find on the engine and surrounding parts, everything was made within a few days of each other in January 1967. I am happy to provide more car pictures or pictures of the casting marks if interested as this does add value to the right buyer.
Included additional parts - 3 original PMD (Pontiac Motor Division) hubcaps, set of 4 original steel rims, original jack and tire iron, spare trunk tension rod, 2 wiper arms, and a thin temporary spare (spare not original). The Pontiac does not come with a battery. The rear has air adjustable shocks.
It shows some typical wear from 50+ years of life, however, it has never been in a major accident, flood, or other major event. The exhaust pipes are temporary short pipes plus mufflers to keep the noise down when running occasionally. Currently, the Pontiac starts fine and drives/idles/shifts/brakes fine. If you want any other clarification on condition or parts, please let me know.
So if you are excited by a numbers matching 1967 Pontiac Le Mans that has not been restored/altered and has the original papers - this might be the "barn find" you have been waiting for.
