Up for sale is this beautiful 1964 Lemans convertible. I must say this is the nicest original matching drivetrain classic I've seen in a long time. I was very tempted to keep this one and possibly do a GTO conversion but I can't do it, it's too pristine and rare on it's own.

1964 PONTIAC LeMans Convertible -- was the 1st year for the 2nd generation LeMans/Tempest -- It was designed to compete as an intermediate size upgrade that really took off and now is very desirable and very hard to find at this level.

The car appears to have had a frame off restoration and is in excellent condition inside and out. All suspension parts, front end parts, brake parts, lines, cables, hoses, belts, body trim parts, etc. etc. seem to have been replaced at that time. The floor pan, trunk pan all seem original and in excellent condition. The body is super straight and the paint is excellent. The interior looks like it just rolled out of the factory.

The trim tag (check pictures) shows options were factory radio and retractable seat belts. It also shows it has it's original trim color (Parchment) and exterior color (Grenadier red). It has a power top and a power antenna. Engine is a 6 cylinder (215 ci ), and a 2 speed automatic transmission, power steering and power brakes. The car runs out great and is fun to drive, it feels like new, I know I was around when they were new and over the years worked on many of them. Don't miss this one, it's a beautiful example of a great Classic that is extremely hard to find and it's a Convertible!.
