  • Pro touring classic! Beginning with the excellent second generation f-body foundation and a rare "X" code Turbo Trans Am Pace Car, this vehicle received thousands of dollars in modern technology to turn it into a modern day stealth machine. Appearing completely factory stock on the outside with sharp paint, interior, and glass, closer inspection reveals a whole lot more. Beginning with a low mileage, all aluminum LS2 and 4L65E driveline from a 2005 GTO, spent fumes are expelled through an all stainless exhaust from the headers to the tailpipes as the motor drives a Moser 12 bolt 3:73 rear end. A 5th generation Camaro fuel module inside a Rick's stainless fuel tank easily handle the demands of the stock motor with a proven performance EFI tune. Aftermarket gauges provide the driver with important information. The full Ridetech suspension consisting of improved geometry A-arms, 4-link rear, and single adjustable coilover shocks allow the driver to change the ride to meet the demands of the road. Ride height and rebound adjustable, the shocks provide countless options to go from full road race mode back to a comfortable, soft ride around town. No matter where you live, the air conditioning and heat will keep you comfortable. Pictures show two receipts, additional receipts are available. This was not a low budget, backyard build.

  • Inspection welcomed.

  • Interior is mostly original and in very good condition. The white plastic interior pieces show some yellowing. Floor, trunk, & other panels are original. The underside was sprayed with chassis black about 2 years ago. It could be resprayed but depends on the amount one would drive.
  • Exterior is a repaint with new decals. Based on no orange peel and minimal chips, the car shows very well.
  • Most everything that I can think of has been gone through at one time or another, from the air/heat to the brakes.
  • Drivetrain had about 41K on it when installed but I don't have documents. New gauges were installed at the same time & show 3,254 miles. No leaks or drips.
  • Discrepancies: + headliner is drooping at the t top crossbar. + passenger side visor missing. + if shipping the car, would recommend installing t top seals. The current ones are either original or older replacements and will leak if wet (I avoid rainy days and spraying water on it directly). + passenger seatbelt currently won't retract.
  • VIN is 2X87TAL145764
  • 2005 GTO LS2 is 6.0L 400hp motor. Drivetrain electronics consist of 411 ECM/24X reluctor, correct for a 2005 LS2. Wiring harness is standalone, 3 wire hookup. Thus service is essentially 2005 GTO. ECM is located below radio & behind the console. No dyno sheet. Did a mail order tune by local Richmond, VA company EFI Performance LLC (formerly known as tuned by Frost) with plans of going in for fine tuning on the dyno. Did not feel a need to go in, should easily be 370+whp.
  • Receipts do not show purchase of drivetrain, vehicle, & other high dollar items like the fuel tank.
  • Exhaust is stainless headers, 3" stainless tubing, & magna flow mufflers.
  • Pro touring f body chassis bracing, subframe connectors & triangulated g braces in the front. Doors do not drop.
