Up for sale is my 1965 GTO Clone.This car is not a matching numbers ca, so if you are looking for a numbers car this isn’t for you. Car was built for me to enjoy and I never thought I’d sell it, but I don’t use it much anymore.
If you looking for a beautiful driver this is the car for you. The Body was completely redone over 17yrs ago and still looks great today which is a testament to the body under the paint. Car was stripped, sandblasted and small rot holes where cut out and replaced with steel. Only Bondo here was to make sure the quarters where perfectly straight.Car has new interior door panels, rug, headliner and optional vinyl top. Re-Chromed front and rear bumpers.
This Pontiac GTO has a 1971 455 that was completely rebuilt punched out .30 over and has a mild cam. Car has 1965 Tri power set up with Richmond 4:10 gears with a Muncie M20 4 speed. Davis Unified Ignition system under the stock cap. Full Flowmater exhaust system with hooker headers. This car is an absolute animal on the streets.
Car is about 90 percent finished and does need some minor work. The fuel tank was never replaced and has been repaired. Carbs probably should be rebuilt again, small hesitationwhen you nail the gas.Front and rear seat could be replaced with new covers. Driver side mirror needs to be installed.
