1983 Trans Am, less motor
Description
Due to some new priorities, I'm parting ways with my 1983 Trans Am. This is an excellent base for either a great show car or a solid start to a drag racer. The car had around 38k miles on the clock when I totally refinished the exterior down to bare metal and went back with a three tone, color sanded House of Kolor finish. As the photos indicate, the paint is near mirror finish. The real story on this car are the parts underneath. It has a brand new, 12 bolt Strange rear end, with 3.73 gears, and a LSD. Also includes the following other parts: bilstein shocks/ struts all around, Wilwood disk brakes and master cylinder, hydro boost brake system, new fuel tank and sender unit with SS lines, new radiator with electric fans, Eibach lowering springs, and a full suspension set up from Spohn Performance, front and rear. The vehicle was originally automatic, but I've fitted it for a six speed. I have a used T-56 thats not installed, but is included, along with bell housing. The only thing the new owner will need to decide is what motor to install. The Spohn K member is currently set up for a Chevy small block, but could easily be adapted to LS if required.
