Description

Just an overview of the cars condition before all of the details. I've owned the car for 20 years - 3rd owner. I have all documents including original finance paperwork and our bill of sale. Car has never sat outside or been in the rain. The intent was to have a car for my wife to drive and bracket race occasionally. As they say life happens, 2 kids later and the car hasn't really been driven much in 18 years. Basically we start it in the spring, take it out once or twice (locally), park it for the year. We have not driven it at all this year. Car has been "wrapped" each winter and stored in the garage. This car is not perfect, there are minor chips and dings in the paint but no rust and no bondo. With the exception of the hood the car was painted in lacquer and never polished. Interior is good, minor stains in rear seats (never tried to hard to get them out) and a small burn spot by the shifter. This is a 41 year old car. On with the details.. The only serious modification aside from the firewall is the frame has been tied. This was a very good job - yes the floor was notched - but no filler panels were used. Has a 160 mph gauge set, I also have the original. The Hurst shifter has a second gate that works perfect with the reverse valve body. Oil pressure gauge is mechanical braided hose. The rear end is the 8.5 corporate with an Eaton Posi and a 4.10 gear (in the car now) along with a .373 also have a set of Strange Engineering C clip eliminators installed.
Transmission is a T-400 with a Coan reverse pattern valve body with an 8" ATI Treemaster converter - yes it actually drives fine. The interesting thing is it has a rare 1970 Ram Air IV service engine. The motor is modified, but the block heads and I believe the crank are all RAIV. The block has lifter brace installed. Bored 4.185 with JE pistons and Oliver Billet steel connecting rods. Crane solid roller camshaft .630 lift at the valve. Smith Bros 5/16 x .083 push rods with .040 restrictors. Heads have been ported with CV-PSI 1043 springs and titanium retainers. Crane gold roller rockers with Comp Cam stud girdle. Again, car is not perfect but it is very solid and rust free. I scraped the under coating off in several pictures and it's all red primer I think its a solid car for someone looking for one that is not rotted.
The pictures show an additional hood, with the shaker that had been disassembled, along with all I have of the original engine. I was told the engine had spun a bearing. Also shown is all I have of the A.C. system, ducting as well as other misc. items. Not shown is the original leaf spring plates/shock mount, front sway bar, speed/gauge cluster (100 mph) and cruise control unit. Please contact through E Bay if you are serious, leave a number and I will call. Specific pictures available on request. $1000 non-refundable deposit 24 hours after sale. Cash or certified funds only, car will not leave until full payment is received and/or funds verified. Thanks.

To be clear the miles are unknown; witch is why the number 1 was used as Ebay does not allow the use of the word unknown, only numeric characters.
