Hello all,
For sale is my 1983 Porsche 944 in Guards Red. The car has no mechanical issues and runs great. The car was repainted at one point, but still retains a single stage paint.
I've replaced/fixed a good amount of parts on this car so it can be driven properly:
Timing belt change 2016 (Receipt posted)
Shocks/Struts (Boge OEM)
New ball joints, lower control arms, control arm bushings and top mounts
New inner and outer tie rods
New Firestone tires
Fuel pressure regulator, fuel gauge sender
Spark plugs, spark plug wires, distributor and rotor
Alternator rebuilt and new Diehard battery
Rear wheeling bearings changed
Front seats bottom reupholstered
Clutch master cylinder and slave cylinder
New catalytic converter and Dansk cat back exhaust (Not loud, but sounds good)
Flushed engine oil, brake fluid and transmission fluid
New Air-Oil-Separator seal, rear camshaft housing seal
Replaced misc. vacuum hoses
Engine mounts
Thermostat and thermistor changed
Radiator professionally cleaned, and coolant flushed.
New head unit and speakers (all of them!)
New fuel level sending unit
Seals changed on sunroof, hatch and taillight
There are some minor issues with the car:
A/C doesn't work (Fan works, heat works)
Power Mirrors doesn't work
Antenna doesn't extend
Minor tear on passenger side carpet (Can be covered via floor mats)
Minor door dingsRear hatch doesn't have shocks (New shocks separate glass from frame, frame is currently sealed)
There is no rust on this car. When I bought it there were two minor rusts spot, bubbling on the passenger fender and rust circling one of the frame rail holes, about 1/4" in diameter. The fender rust was cut out and new metal welded and painted. For the frame, it was determined best to cut out a section and reinforce it for good structural integrity. This was all done professional with receipts to back it up!This car is/was not driven in the winter, from my understanding of the past three owners, this car was garage kept and a summer car. I also know the history of the car for all the owners except the first.
I also have the receipts for all the maintenance done and parts bought for this car, including a recent alignment.
It's currently my daily driver since my actual daily is in the shop, mileage may or may not go up a few hundred.
