The engine #P90785 is a Fuhrmann 4 Cam type 547/1 rebuilt by Billy Doyle with less than 1,500 miles on it. It has a Hirth roller bearing crankshaft. Before its rebuild, the engine sat unused for 50 years in a bedroom.
Billy Doyle confirmed in a letter to the current owner: your engine that I just rebuilt for you was a very low mileage engine. All of the gear set numbers matched each other and the numbers stamped into the cylinder heads by the factory. The carburetor shafts and the distributors showed very little wear also.”
Owner history: same car owner for 43 years, since 1975,

Original 644 transmission was rebuilt about 2500 miles ago with a rare Spyder “D” 2nd gear.
Numbers matching transmission, doors, front hood and deck lid. Period correct 547/1 four cam 1500 engine.
Comes with spare SC engine 616/16 with a strong 1722cc displacement, low miles since it was rebuilt, and fully documented
Sebring exhausts on both the 4 cam and spare engine – sound great
