1974 Porsche 914 Electric

Description

I converted this car a few years back to electric power from a kit of parts supplied by Electro Automotive (based in Felton California..close to Santa Cruz). It is powered by a 144 volt DC motor. 18 eight volt batteries provide the energy to the motor (new batteries were installed December 2018). New beefed up suspension has been installed to handle the extra weight from the batteries. The car has the original 5 speed transmission with new clutch and pressure plate. Rebuilt Disc brakes on all four wheels. Car was recently painted with stock Amber Orange. New bumper cover on the rear bumper. Front bumper spoiler has been repaired with carbon fiber finish. Blaupunkt radio recently decided not function? Stuck "Phantom of the Opera" CD inside is thrown in with the deal. Custom hand made aluminum steering wheel and "ELECTRIC" and "PORSCHE" identity insignia.
