1957 PORSCHE SPEEDSTER Replica by Intermeccanica - by Frank Reisners
Description
All the early cars used the 914 instruments/gauges and the cars were overall nearly exact in detail to the original. The car is titled as a 1981 MFGD, probably a '81 because that's when it was registered for the road for the first time. the 1776 air cooled motor (bigger cylinder barrels), twin carb delortos along with a lightweight flywheel and a bosch blue coil... this IM is fast. Un-restored and with patina, the car screams vintage & classic as it screams down the highway.About 600 cars were built between 1977-79. Some built in Santa Ana, others built by IM approved builders, as was this car.Sorry don't have any photos of the soft top hardly ever use it, but it's under tonneau cover and is mint as well.
