Silver Shadow II - Celebrity Owned

Up for sale is a 1978 Rolls Royce Silver Shadow II originally purchased by Frank Sinatra. I acquired the vehicle in 2005 and researched the ownership history in 2011 through the Rolls Royce Foundation. The Foundation retains all ownership and dealer service records subsequent to the sale of Rolls Royce Automobiles to BMW. As I am limited to 24 photos I have included a few pictures of the car and some of the documentation I received from the Foundation. I can provide additional photos and documentation upon request to serious Buyers.

The build sheets show the vehicle exterior was originally Pewter/Brewster Green with Beige interior and Green piping. Top Roll and Headliner were Green, as well. Old Blue Eyes had the colors changed to Oxford Blue exterior with a Dark Blue interior and Top Roll and Grey Headliner. Somewhere along the way the seats were reupholstered in Cream with Blue piping. The Blue Top Roll and Grey Headliner remain.

The interior needs work. Wood trim needs refinishing, radio and retractable antenna don't work, electric seats need repair as do the remote mirrors. The left rear window doesn't roll down. The paint is scuffed and checking in places and there's rust behind the right front wheel and on the front bumper. The chrome molding on the right fender is partially detached. Odometer shows 48,097 but these are not the actual miles as the odometer doesn't work. There may be more needing service or repair but these are the items I know of. But for the ownership history this is an $18,000 Rolls. Of course, inspection prior to bidding is encouraged and the vehicle is for sale locally so I may remove the listing at any time.
