Description

This gorgeous vintage classic has all original parts and runs but ideally needs about $1000 in work, according to legendary Saab expert Bud Clark of J&B Imports in Orange, CA, which is the vehicle's current location.
Here's the work needed:
Clean carburetor
Adjust valves
Front brake pads service calipers
Replace rear brake cylinder
Adjust clutch
Replace battery
Lube, oil filter
Electrical inspection
Body is in great condition with original paint. Interior condition is a bit mixed, but not a total loss, and could be easily restored. Original seats are in amazing condition.
4 speed manual shifter on steering column.
Currently registered as non-operational, but would be fine as a daily driver if maintained.
This model is incredibly rare, and the number of running models is decreasing every year.
Priced to sell quickly. Open to *reasonable* offers, but these cars sell for $20,000 or more when restored.
I love this car, but I moved and have too many cars with limited space.
If you're unfamiliar with the model, I'd suggest a little research. These cars have a very cool history.

CORRECTION: Mileage is actually 56,295, as shown in the dashboard photo from the garage. The car is currently at the garage, so I couldn't check the odometer when I posted the listing. Apologies for the error.

Please also note I've advertised this as the Deluxe edition based on my mechanic's assertion that this is in fact the case. I am not an expert on this model year, and I can not verify this information either way. It is not my intention to be deceptive nor misleading.

IMPORTANT NOTES:
1. There have been a number of requests for photos of the undercarriage and questions about rust. I have placed many requests for these photos with the garage, where the vehicle is currently located, but have not yet received the pictures. In the absence of photos, it would be fair to report that there is rust on the pan, but I am told the rockers, joints, etc. are fine, so any work needed regarding rust should likely be focused on the pan. Again, I am not an expert, and I'm simply attempting to provide an honest assessment based on what I've heard from the garage.
2. As advertised, the car technically runs, and it started up and ran at the garage when I had it transported there.Currently, however, the garage has apparently removed the coil and drained the gas. In addition, thecarburetor does need the maintenance described above in order to hold running status on its own, and it needs a battery upgrade.
